Non-surgical cellulite reduction treatments with Venus Legacy are based on new technology that helps shrink fat cells to improve the appearance of dimpling and orange peel skin. These treatments are very comfortable and can be customized to target cellulite at any stage, with no downtime.
How does the treatment work?
The treated area is cleaned and then a glycerin-based gel is applied. The applicator will slowly warm up until your skin reaches the required temperature and will remain within that range. But if you feel it is too hot, let the therapist know and the temperature can be slightly reduced. If the therapist uses the VariPulse ™ function, you will also feel a gentle suction on the skin, like a vacuum, as the applicator moves around the area. This can also be reduced if needed.
The treatments are comfortable. The level of heat and suction can be easily adjusted for your comfort.
How long does the treatment last?
The treatment lasts between 20 and 60 minutes, depending on the area.
How many sessions are needed to achieve results?
Most patients require 6-8 treatments per body area and 4 sessions for the face or neck. The exact number will depend on each person's individual needs.
How often should the treatment be performed?
Treatments are performed weekly on the same area.
Contraindications
- Current or history of cancer
- Active inflammation and/or infection in the treatment area
- Degenerative neurological disease or any other condition in the treatment area that is triggered by heat (e.g., herpes)
- An internal defibrillator / pacemaker
- Metal implants (except dental) in the treatment area
- Uncontrolled thyroid gland disorder
- Varicose veins in the treatment area
- Pregnant or undergoing an in vitro fertilization procedure
- Autoimmune skin-related diseases
- Silicone implants and/or injections in the treatment area
